Genies are river creatures native to the Ivory Coast. They are capable of gliding over the surface of water. The Ivorian National Quidditch team uses a group of river Genies trained in formation dancing as their team mascots, and brought them to perform at the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup.[1]
