Professor Garius Tomkink was a magical historian and the author of Hogwarts, A History. His book is a compilation of the history of both Hogwarts School and Hogwarts Castle. Hermione Granger was an avid reader of his work. Professor Tomkink had, however, left out of his book the fact that there were house-elves working in the castle's kitchens, much to Hermione's distaste.
Behind the scenesEdit
- In the PS2 version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (video game), Chroniculus Punnet stated to be the author of Hogwarts, A History. However, a later film prop identifies the book's author as Professor Garius Tomkink.
