- Harry Potter: "What does it mean, they await my owl?"
- Rubeus Hagrid: "Gallopin' Gorgons, that reminds me."
- — Harry Potter and Rubeus Hagrid.[src]
Gallopin' Gorgons was an idiom that was spoken by Hagrid in the Hut-on-the-Rock in 1991, when he almost forgot to send an owl to Albus Dumbledore telling him he had given Harry Potter his Hogwarts acceptance letter.[1]
