On a whim, Frog Spawn Soap is a joke product that was carried by Zonko's Joke Shop.
History
During the 1986–1987 school year, after a Flying class, Nymphadora Tonks expressed that the first thing she planned to do when going to Hogsmeade, was to buy the Frog Spawn Soap, then later slipping it into the girl's bathroom.[1] In the beginning of a Herbology class, a third year complained about trying to wash that morning, only to have the soap being full of tadpoles,[2] most likely the result of Tonk's promised prank.
Ron Weasley and Harry Potter purchased some on a trip to Hogsmeade in 1994.[3]
Behind the scenes
- It is presumably soap filled with frogspawn, or soap that causes frogs to spawn.
