Frank Bryce used a walking stick to relief the pressure from his bad leg, injured in in the Second World War. On the night of 20 August, 1994, Frank Bryce took his walking stick with him, to check the Riddle House for trespassing boys from the village (interlopers who turned out to be Lord Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew).^[1] Roughly a year later, during the Duel in Little Hangleton, Frank Bryce's echo carried his old walking stick.^[2]
