The foxtrot was a dance characterised by long, flowing movements, which rose to popularity in the early 20th century.
The New York Ghost published a report by Franciscus Fieldwake about a wizard or witch from Idaho caught drunk broom-riding after winning a foxtrot competition in its 6 December 1926 morning issue.
