I'm sorry I'm not sure where to put this, but I was wondering, there's some wrong doings in the book. In between OotP and CoS, Percy takes points from Ron for being in Myrtle's bathroom, but later, Hermione tells Draco he can't take points away from them as a prefect. Sorry, I was wondering if you could clarify that for me? -:)

This wasn't the first time this problem was pointed out. I believe JKR explained by saying that prefects aren't allowed to dock points from fellow prefects, but they are allowed to take points from other students. Read the Prefect page for more details.
