Well, Harry first realizes he likes her when he sees her snogging Dean Thomas, which makes him jealous, so it would be reasonable to presume that his feelings for her have been building up over time. We know that Ginny has had a crush on him from the start, and so maybe it would have rubbed off. Not to mention that, once Ginny became his friend, he got to know her better, and so probably saw a different side of her. And, of course, as noted above, the Potter men have a thing for readheads; Ginny Weasley, Lily Evans, and I'm willing to bet Dorea Black had flaming red hair as well. --Parodist 01:43, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

::In the actual book, the "process" in which Harry falls for Ginny is more accurately depicted. By reading the book we get access to Harry's thoughts while in the movies, this doesn't happen; maybe because beeing "the chosen one" means less time for sharing feelings.--79.112.227.65 10:27, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
