What about Golden Snitch Dumbledore left for Harry? Is there any specific message or intention to leave a Snitch? All other things (the Deluminator, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and Gyffindor's Sword) were useful in their Journey but what is the purpose of the Snitch?

Dumbledore had hidden the Resurrection Stone inside it. Jayden Matthews 15:27, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

It would also make sense for the Resurrection Stone to be hidden inside of a Snitch since Harry Potter was the Gryffindor Seeker and perhaps Dumbledore wanted to leave Harry the stone but had to hide it inside something that wouldn't cause a lot of questions.Still Learning 12:22, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Dumbledore probally hidden the stone so Harry could see his parents for the first time and the lost ones for the last time for advice when he needs it --Bongo2009 Gryffindor Talk 12:35, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

That wasn't the first time Harry saw his parents. He saw them for the first time in the Mirror of Erisad and then he saw them again towards the end of The Goblet of Fire during the duel between Harry and Voldemort.Still Learning 18:36, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh yeah, might be to use it for advice off his family when he needs it the most --Bongo2009 Gryffindor Talk 18:39, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

He used it to help prepare for facing his death at Voldemort's hands Leopardstarismyleader 19:44, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

maybe Dumbledore wanted harry to havve the stone because he felt that the resurrection stone will bring back the dead that Harry knew who were mostly killed by Voldemort and his followers to help Harry out like they did in Goblet of Fire.
Or he may have felt that harry will have a chance to hold all the hallows. remember he gave hermione the book for them to know about the 3 hallows. He might have preferred Harry to open his tomb rather than Voldemort. though harry did not even proceed knowing Voldemort was on his way to get the wand out of respect for Dumbledore. --Morsmordree 10:36, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Also with Harry getting the stone he could make sure it was disposed of properly where as nearlly everyone else would've used it --MiniwallyRavenclaw(Owl me!) 14:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
