Is it ok if I translate articles and put them into the german version of this wiki?

--Rodolphus 12:03, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

I´m going to translate some articles. Say anything if you don´t agree.--Rodolphus 15:16, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Translation and redistribution is allowed under the GFDL license. However, proper credit must be given to the original article here at the English HP wiki. A link at the bottom of any translated article must link back to the history of our article to show proper accreditation. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 18:34, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

I created an article about Ernie Macmillan in the German wiki now. Here it is:

How can I make a link in in other languages-section? --Rodolphus 19:11, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Here is the article about Cho: --Rodolphus 12:38, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Here is the article about Mrs Weasley: --Rodolphus 18:01, 26 February 2008 (UTC)´

Can I uopload the pictures from here for the articles? --Rodolphus 15:07, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Please answer my questions from above.--Rodolphus 14:01, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Firstly, you don't have to post links to the translated pages here. At the bottom of the article you translated for the German HP wiki should be a note saying that the original contect of the article was taken from the English HP wiki, complete with a link to history page of the English article. Simply put, at the bottom of the German HP Wiki Molly Weasley article there should be a note about the location of the original content, with a link to the history page on the English HP Wiki Molly Weasley article. I would assume the same applies for images to ensure accreditation to the original uploader/ creator. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 14:53, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Ok, but I can´t upload the images. What have I to write into source filename?--Rodolphus 16:23, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Now it worked. Ernie´s picture is on his site.--Rodolphus 16:27, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

The others are uploaded now, too and a note at the bottom says that the original is from here.--Rodolphus 17:48, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
