I put a lot of work into getting the House Points Game running, so, on a personal level, it saddens me to make this proposal. But the past few weeks, in which no points have been given out, have convinced me that my idea really isn't all that feasible. Now that it's summer, many of the Prefects will be more busy than usual, and won't have as much time to spend on the wiki. Prefects seem to be directing the time they do have to spend on the wiki toward other pursuits. Simply put, it doesn't seem fair to keep the game going, with people working to earn points, when Prefects either won't be around or won't have the time to give points. ★ Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:28, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- My sentiments exactly... Maybe we can temporarily disable the House Points Game, reinstating it in mid-September, when most users have returned from their vacations and such-and-such. -- Seth Cooper (Owl Post) 23:37, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- That is a bit sad. But, i guess it would save time when users look at the hourglass annoyed because there is still no change. It's Winter in the south though.ShirleyA(The Quibbler) 10:31, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
What do you mean by standards?ShirleyA(The Quibbler) 10:24, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- More of so that points aren't given out for everything but for more noteworthy achievements (rewriting an article, creating an article with a decent amount of content, etc.). The idea isn't to be "if you do a you'll get b points." -- DarkJedi613 (Talk) 01:18, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- I thought that was how it already was. Am I mistaken? ShirleyA(The Quibbler) 03:21, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
