I would like to make a public apology to DarkJedi613. I was wrong to make that accusation. Cavalier One, you were correct, I did delete that comment. It was rude and nasty and will not be tolerated on my site. I should have been able to tell the difference between DarkJedi613's tone in writing me messages and whoever this John Whelan's tone. DarkJedi613, when you write me comments on the wiki, you are calm and kind in your tone, while the John Whelan sounded more like a "anti-Christian". It must have just been someone who was browsing Freewebs and just happened to comment on MY site. So I am basically saying sorry and I will terminate my request to become an administrator. I also was NOT threatning you. I just said that I would have been able to tell a lie from a sentence. So Sorry. Gryff23 18:30, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- Apology accepted. I hope you enjoy contributing to this Wiki and decide to stay. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you have any more questions. -- DarkJedi613 (Talk) 23:22, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
And you'll never believe this, that John Whelan visited my page again and left another rude comment. I emailed my co-webmaster for a second opinion on deleting the guestbook page and he agreed. I know it was not you DarkJedi613. :) Gryff23 01:23, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear it. Best of luck to you. -- DarkJedi613 (Talk) 02:30, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe you should install a guestbook that will let you block people based on their IP address. It'd be a shame to have to delete your guestbook entirely because of one troll — I'm sure that friendly visitors would like a place to say hello! You can find free guestbook scripts online (Megabook is good), or if you don't want to muck around with installing CGI on your site, you can sign up for one on a free web tools site like Bravenet.
- As for things here at HP Wiki, Gryff23, please don't be dissuaded from editing here. Everything's been sorted out. :-) -Starstuff 02:45, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
