Underground Chambers

Pottermore art: Through the Trapdoor

All they could hear apart from their footsteps was the gentle drip of water trickling down the walls. The passageway sloped downwards and Harry was reminded of Gringotts.
- Chapter Sixteen, Through the Trapdoor, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
The penultimate chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Through the Trapdoor, sees Harry, Ron and Hermione venturing beneath Hogwarts. Here are our favourite interpretations of some of the challenges they face as they make their way through the underground chambers.

Philosopher's Stone chambers

Does it bother you that in America they changed the name's of your books?
J.K. Rowling: They changed the first title, but with my consent. To be honest, I wish I hadn't agreed now, but it was my first book, and I was so grateful that anyone was publishing me I wanted to keep them happy...

RE: Underground Chambers - Pottermore, Book 1, Chapter 16, Moment 2 is titled "Underground Chambers". The article title comes directly from Pottermore which is a Tier 1 canon source.
RE: Philosopher's Stone chambers - I didn't see anything in the link to Rowling's twitter that you provided that made any reference to "chambers" at all, and I looked all the way down to when she registered in 2009. Perhaps you could provide a more specific reference link? Although even with that, the quote you cited still doesn't say anything about "Philosopher's Stone chambers". The title of the book is not what's in question.

Erm. Nowhere in the link you presented is any reference made to "Philosopher's Stone chambers" at all. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 15:33, December 26, 2014 (UTC)
