I was just rewatching the film version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and I noticed that towards the beginning, when on the Hogwarts Express, Luna uses 'Finite' on Harry's Invisibility Cloak, and it flies away. How does this work? Because in the book of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, a Death Eater uses Accio on the Cloak but nothing happens. Also isn't the Cloak of Invisibility meant to be resistant to spells, jinxes and hexes? I realise that this possible mistake only happened in the film so it may not be considered canon, but does anyone have any thoughts or explanations? Thanks :) --Margiechocoholic Owl me! 10:15, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
Hiyya Harry was under the full body bind curse so that spell must have been the counter curse as it revied harry when the cloak fell off Mattyb2k9 12:38, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
- But why did the cloak fall off when the spell was used? Margiechocoholic Owl me! 12:41, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
