Some relatively long disambiguation pages have been created of late, such as Fabian and Gideon Prewett, Fred and George Weasley, and Parvati and Padma Patil. Some articles serve as informational hubs, gathering information on a broad topic and giving a general overview of it, like Dark Arts, Hogwarts, etc. However, the relationships between these people are already covered in their individual articles, and a relationship doesn't seem like a broad enough topic to warrant its own summary article. I can also see these pages leading to the creation of a lot similar pages (James and Lily Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, etc.). That's why I think that pages like Fabian and Gideon Prewett should remain strictly disambiguation pages. :: I agree that pages like Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley would get ridiculous. Though, I think pages like Fred and George, Fabian and Gideon, and Parvati and Padma are Ok, as they are hardly seen seperately. When people think of Fred, they think of George. I think a small description of their relationship is ok, as through most of the series, they are known as Fred and George Weasley, not Fred Weasley and George Weasley. The same is for the Patil twins. AS for the prewetts, It isnt really needed, but how could it hurt? 21:52, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

::: I think it is horrible to group two twins together as if they could not exist separately. Why not just merge that info with the Weasley family, the Prewett family. and the Patil family, respectively? You could have a separate section called "The Weasley Twins", or the "Prewett Twins", etc. That would be much easier and make more logical sense; then perhaps the couple could redirect to that section. What does everyone else think? Starstuff (Owl me!) 11:25, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

I agree that pages like Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley would get ridiculous. -- Ratneer Owl Me! 21:52, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
I think it is horrible to group two twins together as if they could not exist separately. Why not just merge that info with the Weasley family, the Prewett family. and the Patil family, respectively? You could have a separate section called "The Weasley Twins", or the "Prewett Twins", etc. That would be much easier and make more logical sense; then perhaps the couple could redirect to that section. 24.49.35.99 03:34, April 22, 2010 (UTC)
