How is it possible for voldemort if he had the stone to be immortal? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.130.2.159 (talkcontribs).

That's one of the things the stone does - you get the Elixir of Life from that, and so long as you keep drinking that, you don't die. ProfessorTofty (talk) 15:55, July 25, 2012 (UTC)
Bur hasn't he already got the horcores? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.130.2.159 (talkcontribs).
Right, but he still needed a way to get a body and the stone would have allowed him to do that, too. In fact, Dumbledore said that this was the main reason that he wanted the stone actually - he felt that once he got a body back, he would have just relied on the horcruxes and wouldn't have even bothered with the stone anymore because he wouldn't want to be reliant on it. Right but we in the fourth book did he say that we firstly had to find the mortal life and then the immortal? (something like that, it was on the deatheaters chapter) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.130.2.159 (talkcontribs).
