Im a new member here, still not used of making forums.... I'm just wondering.. see I am planning to make a sequel to the story of Harry, but this time it does not concern him anymore, im planning to make a new character, new enemy, new adventures but this time it is set 20 - 30 years after the fall of the He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. I'm just wondering...is it illegal? because I will still use Hogwarts, the spells, some of J.K. Rowling's original characters... I'm not gonna publish it though, I just want to write it and tell it to my kids when i grow up. Am i making sense? Well I hope you understood my problem.
Share your ideas though, e-mail me, firstname.lastname@example.org
- If you don't publish it like what you said, it's good and probably there's no one will against you unless your kids didn't like it. It's only become illegal if you sell your books like what happened in HP Lexicon, J.K. Rowling & Warner Bros. sue the author, i hope you are aware on that incident. --ÈnŔîčö (Send me an Owl) 18:50, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
