I was wondering if we should go around making articles like hermione granger, and redirecting them to Hermione Granger, just for searching purposes?-Matoro183 (Talk) 22:03, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

I liked this idea originally, but if you search hermione granger, then it does give you Hermione Granger.Harry Potter Fantic 1 02:41, 18 December 2007 (UTC)Harry Potter Fantic 1 However, if I'm mistaken, I support this.Harry Potter Fantic 1 00:10, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Harry Potter Fantic 1

Yes, the software would redirect based on case, but creating redirects for mispellings would be useful. John Reaves (talk) 09:05, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
If you did that Matoro, that would be pretty great. You'd get a barnstar for that project i'm sure. Even first and last names are useful. For instance, just "Lupin", etc. Mafalda Hopkirk 16:01, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
I think that surnames that are shared by more than one individual should be disambig pages rather than straight redirects. As for the mispellings, maybe Graninger, or Weasly. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 18:21, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
This is weird. When I started this forum, it didn't case redirect. I believe it must be the new MediaWiki 1.12 software. -Matoro183 (Talk) 22:00, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
