Ok, so I have no idea if any chat mods have been assigned, but I have been told by some users I've seen in chat from time to time that they like never see anyone with a star, and that if a user causes problems or is rude, it's a rather pain getting something done about it. I'm not sure how many we want, or what, we don't have a huge chat population, but I do know of one user, User:Speedysnitch who is very helpful and very active in chat, and I would like to make them chat mod if I have everyone's approval.

- If Chat Mods need to be assigned, I would like to see at least one of the current administrators take on the responsibility. If not, a very experienced member of the community should be selected, one who is responsible, aware of - and follows - all current wiki rules and guidelines, and who has the trust of the entire administration. I do not like the idea of granting power to anyone who doesn't have the complete trust of the wiki's community, and who isn't voted on by the same community. User rights should not be handed out to anyone without a vote. - Cavalier One
