I was just reading the wiki article on Ashwinders and was thinking, do you think the snake that Voldemort sets on Dumbledore in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix could have been an ashwinder? If it were possible, I can add that info to the Behind the Scenes section in the article. I just wanted to make sure before making any false edits. Thanks!

- I don't think it would hurt to mention it in the "Behind the scenes" section, but an Ashwinder is a real, living creature (in the books, that is), whereas I think the snake Voldemort summoned in the movie was just a spell, like Serpensortia or the black serpent Snape conjured during his duel with McGonagall in Deathly Hallows, Ch. 30. ★ Starstuff (Owl me!) 09:14, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
