A football card is a type of trading card featuring famous football players. Though not as popular in the wizarding world as Chocolate Frog Cards, there are still some wizards interested in them.
Ronald Weasley once found a football card in a pack of Muggle chewing gum. He gave it to Harry Potter in 1992 in gratitude for buying him a Chudley Cannons Jersey he wanted. Harry in turn traded the card to the head of the Wizard Card Collectors' Club in exchange for a rare misprint of a Wendelin the Weird card.[1]
