Flying with the Cannons is a book about the Chudley Cannons Quidditch team, written by Julius Dehoffe. Ron Weasley gave Harry Potter a copy for Christmas in 1992.[1]
It contained moving pictures of Cannons players in action and Harry read it in the summer of 1994 before falling asleep and having a vision involving Lord Voldemort, Peter Pettigrew and a muggle-man named Frank Bryce. Following the vision, he closed the book, as he felt that even Quidditch couldn't distract him at the moment.[2]
Later in the year, Harry idly reread the book for tenth time, watching Joey Jenkins belt a Bludger towards a Ballycastle Bats Chaser.[3]
