The Flutterby bush is a plant that quivers and shakes. Fourth year students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry learn how to prune the bushes in Herbology class.[1] In 1997, Mrs. Weasley planted two Flutterby bushes in the garden at The Burrow in preparation for the wedding of her son, Bill, to Fleur Delacour.[2]
Etymology
"Flutterby" is an old name for "butterfly".
