Fire Seeds are seeds off of the fire seed bush. They are used in certain potions. In order to be collected, the seeds must be cooled down. The fastest way of doing this is using the Freezing Spell, although if one waits for a moment, the seed's temperature will lower until they can be collected. Hagrid used these seeds to maintain the temperature of his fire high while incubating the egg of his baby dragon, Norbert.
