- "His office door is always open to any Ravenclaw with a problem, and if you're in a real state he'll get out these delicious little cupcakes he keeps in a tin in his desk drawer and make them do a little dance for you. In fact, it's worth pretending you’re in a real state just to see them jive."
- — Robert Hilliard[src]
The office of Filius Flitwick is a room in Hogwarts Castle, located near the West Tower on the Seventh Floor (thirteenth window from the right). The office contains portraits, a desk, and sleeping quarters.
In Flitwick's desk drawer, he keeps a tin of cupcakes, which he charms to make them dance if any upset Ravenclaws need cheering up.[1]
History
Sirius Black's imprisonment
In 1994, Sirius Black was imprisoned in this office after being caught on the grounds of Hogwarts, and was condemned to receive the Dementor's Kiss. However, a time-travelling Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, with the help of the hippogriff Buckbeak, broke into this office from the outside to rescue Sirius.
