Pirate image[]
I'm surprised this image has remained on this wiki for three years without being spotted. There are several things wrong with it.
Firstly, the uploader uploaded it without adding it to an article, or otherwise indicating what it is supposed to be (the file name is meaningless).
Secondly, and more importantly, it is a copyright violation; the uploader seems to have been under the common delusion that finding an image on a web page is a blanket licence to reuse it ad infinitum. It was stolen from the official page announcing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (play), and violates all five clauses of the "Intellectual Property" section of the Terms and Conditions:
- "the material and information may only be used for your personal and non-commercial purposes". Obvious fail.
- "the material and information shall not be reproduced or included in any other work or publication in any medium without the written permission of AKA". That includes any wiki.
- "the material and information may not be modified or altered in any way". The uploader has removed the watermark from the bottom right corner.
- "the material and information may not be distributed or sold to any third party". Clearly forbids use on another site, such as a wiki.
- "you may not remove any copyright or other proprietary notices contained in the material or the information". Such as any watermarks.
