The worm is an invertebrate animal consisting of a tube-like body with no legs.

As a very young child, Zygmunt Budge pretended to brew potions by using a bucket and handfuls of worms.[1]
In the late 19th century, Hilda transfigured her classmate, Astoria Crickett, into a worm.[2]
Earthworms were a flavour of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.[3]
Whizzing Worms was a magical joke product that caused worms to bubble up when added to a liquid.[4]
