Albert Runcorn was a wizard who was employed by the British Ministry of Magic. He was a Ministry of Magic employee during the administration of Pius Thicknesse. His chief function was intimidator and blackmailer of alleged Muggle-borns, and he uncovered Dirk Cresswell's falsified family tree while in this capacity. In 1997, he unknowingly ate a Nosebleed Nougat from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and had to take time off from work.[1]

Runcorn attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991 onwards and was in the same year as the famous Harry Potter.[2]
