- "To be polite, he took a sip from his cup too and almost gagged: the stuff was quite disgusting, as though someone had liquidised bogey-flavoured Every-Flavour Beans."
- — Description[src]
An infusion of Gurdyroots was a foul-tasting beverage concocted from the Gurdyroot plant.[1] As deeply purple in colour as beetroot juice, it was said that this drink tasted like bogeys.[2]
History[]
Shortly before the Ambush at the Lovegood House on 31 December, 1998, Xenophilius offered this drink to Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley when they came to visit his home.[1] All three drank, and shared the opinion that it tasted disgusting; indeed, Harry could only compare it to liquidised bogey-flavoured Every-Flavour Beans.[2]
