- Harry Potter: "I'm here to research how to remove a curse? Sniffle."
- Irma Pince: "I would usually refer you to the Updated Counter-Curse Handbook, Second Revised Edition, but it has been missing from the shelves for some time now."
- Harry Potter: "Who has it checked out? Honk."
- Irma Pince: "No one. It was either stolen or someone is pulling a prank. I've even offered a reward for its return. And no honking in the library, please."
