Spagyric (or plant alchemy) was a less well-known branch of alchemy,[1] with a focus on plants rather than metals.[2] It is the name given to the production of herbal medicines using alchemical procedures.[3]
The Alchemy Room in St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries focused on the alchemy of plants, specifically healing herbs which were involved in cures.[4]
