Магичен Теория (English: Magical Theory) was a spellbook that was part of the required books at Durmstrang Institute.[1]

As such, when Durmstrang students went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1994–1995 school year for the Triwizard Tournament, they could be seen carrying their copies of this book.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The English translation of the Bulgarian title of this book is "Magical Theory", which is the title of a required book at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is possible that Магичен Теория is the Bulgarian translation, and thus the same book, as Magical Theory.
- The translation is, however, grammatically incorrect, as "магичен" is an adjective of masculine gender and "теория" is a feminine noun. The language's declension rules dictate that the adjective follows the noun gender, thus "магична теория" or, more accurately, "магическа теория" ("magical" as in "possessing magical properties" versus "magical" as in "pertaining to magic") would be the correct translation.
