The Fijian rainforest is a tropical rainforest located in Fiji. It is the home of the Giant Fire Crab, which has been hunted near extinction.
In Marauding with Monsters, Gilderoy Lockhart conveys the tale of how he was confronted with a horde of Fire Crabs, while campaigning to save the Giant Fire Crab but stopping to perform "certain urgent ablutions" under a banyan tree.[1] The veracity of these events is doubtful, given Lockhart's theft of other people's achievements.
