A Fanged Frisbee is similar to a Muggle frisbee, but it has teeth and 'snarls'. They are forbidden at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

HistoryEdit

Fanged Frisbees can be found at a variety of fictional joke shops in the wizarding world including Zonko's Joke Shop in Hogsmeade near Hogwarts, and in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, the popular joke shop run by Fred and George Weasley in Diagon Alley, London.

1994-1995Edit

The Frisbees were added to Filch's list of forbidden objects in the 1994–1995 school year.^[1]

1996Edit

A brand of Fanged Frisbees, Fanged Flyers, was sold at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.^[2]

Hermione Granger took a Fanged Frisbee from a fourth year student in 1996. Ron Weasley quickly took it from her, saying he had always wanted one.^[3]

Behind the scenesEdit

• Fanged Frisbees can be found in the real world at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Zonko's Joke Shop in Universal Orlando. They are green with a reptile-like face and multiple teeth on the outside rim of the disc. The package they are sold in also includes a handler's glove, inferring that the toy is sharp.
• In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Verity is trapped on the staicase in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes by three Fanged Frisbees, possibly Fanged Flyers.
