Fabius Watkins (1940–1975) was a wizard and legendary Quidditch Captain and Chaser for the Montrose Magpies. In 1975 he was involved in a freak collision with a helicopter and died almost instantly.
Etymology
The name "Fabius" was a Roman family name which was derived from Latin faba "bean". Quintus Fabius Maximus was the Roman general who used delaying tactics to halt the invasion of Hannibal in the 3rd century BC.
