Fabian and Gideon Prewett were both pure-blood wizards born to Mr. and Mrs. Prewett and brothers to Molly Weasley. They were members of the Order of the Phoenix prior to being murdered by Death Eaters in the First Wizarding War.

• Fabian Prewett — Brother of Gideon and Molly and member of the original Order of the Phoenix. He was murdered by five Death Eaters before the end of the First Wizarding War. Through his sister he is the uncle to seven Weasley children and brother-in-law of Arthur Weasley.
• Gideon Prewett — Brother of Fabian and Molly and member of the original Order of the Phoenix. He was murdered by five Death Eaters before the end of the First Wizarding War. Through his sister, he is the uncle of seven Weasley children and brother-in-law of Arthur Weasley.

Behind the scenesEdit

• James and Oliver Phelps, who play the roles of Fred and George Weasley, Fabian and Gideon's nephews (Molly's sons), also 'played' the parts of Fabian and Gideon in the film version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the photograph of the original Order of the Phoenix.
• It is possible that Molly Weasley (their sister) named her twin sons, Fred and George Weasley after Fabian and Gideon. Fred has the same initial as Fabian, and George has the same initial as Gideon.
• Harry had also inherited Fabian's watch for his seventeenth birthday. Molly Weasley had given it to him at the Burrow.
