Equus is a play by Peter Shaffer written in 1973, telling the story of a psychiatrist who attempts to treat a young man who has a pathological religious/sexual fascination with horses.[2]
History[]
This play was staged sometime in the 1990s, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths. There was a poster for the play at Luchino Caffe in the summer of 1997.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- In the real world, both Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths (who played Harry Potter and Vernon Dursley respectively in the Harry Potter films) starred in the 2007 revival of Equus.
