Enid Smeek was a witch who lived in Godric's Hollow at the same time as the Dumbledore family. She was quoted in The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore as saying that Aberforth Dumbledore used to throw goat dung at her, and that Bathilda Bagshot was "nutty as squirrel poo."
Etymology
The name "Enid" is derived from Welsh enaid meaning "soul" or "life". She was the wife of Geraint in Arthurian legend.
