Engorgio Skullus is a Hex. This spell is used to swell the victim's skull.^[1] This may be a variation of the Engorgement Charm, Engorgio, where the word Skullus confers specificity to the spell, hence limiting its shrinking effects to the head of the target. The counter-spell to shrink the victim's head is Redactum Skullus.

Known Uses

• This hex might have been used by James Potter and Sirius Black against Bertram Aubrey to inflate his head to twice the normal size.

Etymology

• The word engorge means "to fill to excess".
• The word skullus is probably an adaptation of the English noun skull.
