History
Edit
The Ministry of Magic uses these windows to give the workers a sense that they are above ground, when in fact they are located below the ground. The Magical Maintenance Department is in charge of deciding what weather they will get every day. On one occasion the workers in the Magical Maintenance Department caused two straight months of hurricanes, because they desired a pay raise.[1]
Behind the Scenes
Edit
- The windows did not appear in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
