Emmeline Vance was a member of the first and second Order of the Phoenix until her death in mid-1996 at the hands of Death Eaters. She was considered a talented witch and her loss was a heavy blow to the Order. She was a member of the Advance Guard that retrieved Harry Potter from 4 Privet Drive.
