Ehwaz is a magical rune meaning "partnership" that comes up in the Study of Ancient Runes O.W.L..

History

During the 1995–1996 school year, Hermione Granger confused ehwaz with "eihwaz", another rune which meant "defence".[1] Regardless, she still achieved an Outstanding.[2]
