The Educational Decree Number Thirty-Six was one of the Educational Decrees created by Dolores Umbridge, then-Hogwarts High Inquisitor. This Educational Decree forbade male students to get closer than six inches of female students, and vice-versa.[1] Umbridge rather strictly enforced this decree on at least one occassion, using a non-verbal spell of some form to force two students of opposite gender apart.[2]
