Edric Vosper was a wizard who played as a Chaser on the English National Quidditch team.
Etymology
The name "Edric" comes from Old English ead "rich, blessed" and ric "ruler". After the Norman conquest this Old English name was not commonly used. It has occasionally been revived in modern times.
