Easter day or Easter Sunday is an important annual religious feast celebrated in both the Muggle's world and the Wizarding world. Easter is the last day of Holy Week.

1995
Mrs. Weasley sent a package of Easter eggs with Percy's letter enclosed to it to Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Both Harry and Ron received were the size of dragon eggs and full of homemade toffee, while Hermione got eggs which the size is smaller than a chicken egg. Her face fell when she saw it.
1996
Hermione spent her time in Gryffindor Tower to revise Ancient Runes, and Ron had Quidditch practice. Ginny and Ron received a box of Easter eggs wrapped in brown paper, but it had already been unwrapped and carelessly re-wrapped. There was a scribbled note across it in red ink, reading: Inspected and Passed by the Hogwarts High Inquisitor.
1998
Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger are captured by a gang known as Snatchers then decides to hand-over the trio to the Malfoys at the Malfoy Manor. House-elf Dobby died while rescuing them. Many Hogwarts students did not return to school especially those friends of Harry Potter. The Weasleys abandoned their house when the Death Eaters finally discovered that Ron was assisting Harry after they were captured at Malfoy Manor.
