Changes: East Wing (sixth floor)

The West Wing is a large hall located on the sixth floor of Hogwarts Castle. There is a huge fireplace in the center of the room and some portrait hung on the walls. There are portraits of Damara Dodderidge, Termeritus Shanks and Mirabile Visu, among others in this room. There are various suits of armour, which guard the room after the sun is down. The entrance is located on the Glanmore Peakes' Corridor and it has an entryway to the room Fred and George Weasley hid the Marauder's Map. On the first night of the 1993-1994 school year, Professor Severus Snape, the Potions Master, patrolled the Wing, but Harry Potter still managed to sneak past. There are two fake walls in the room that can be opened to reveal small chambers that hide chests inside. ^[1]
