The Ear-Shrivelling Curse is a curse possibly invented by a young, male, Brazilian wizard. William Weasley's Brazilian Pen-Friend,between 1989 and 1994, sent Bill a hat with the curse in it, because he couldn't make an exchange trip with his friend. However, it was merely because his family couldn't afford it.
