E331 is the European code used to refer to any of the three kinds of sodium citrate (sodium salts of citric acid): monosodium citrate (NaH₂C₆H₅O₇), disodium citrate (Na₂HC₆H₅O₇) or trisodium citrate (Na₃C₆H₅O₇). They are used as food additives, usually for flavour or as a preservative.

Sodium citrate is the acidity regulator used in Lima Lush, a Muggle brand of citrus-flavoured fizzy drink.^[1]
