E211 is the European code used to refer to sodium benzoate, or NaC7H5O2. Sodium benzoate is used primarily as a preservative in acidic foods.
Sodium benzoate is the preservative used in Lima Lush, a Muggle brand of citrus-flavoured fizzy drink.[1]
