Dumbledore's Army: The Dark Side of the Demob was a book by sensationalist author Rita Skeeter, about the lives of the members of Dumbledore's Army. This book, according to her description, seemed to focus on their "imperfections". It was launched at Flourish and Blotts on 31 July 2014.[1]

The cover of the book featured Dumbledore's Army leader and teacher Harry Potter with his wife and fellow D.A. member Ginny Potter. Harry was shown attempting to block the photographer's shot with his hand.[1]

Skeeter advertised for this book in her gossip column of the Daily Prophet on 8 July of that year, in which she made various insinuations against the members of Dumbledore's Army who had gathered for the 2014 Quidditch World Cup in the Patagonian Desert.[1]
